Did you hear the news? The Dave Matthews Band is on tour. Oh, and they’re hosting their own music channel on Sirius XM radio. Yes, it’s true. The new channel coincides with the band’s latest studio album, “Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King,” which was released in early June. The album is dedicated to saxophonist LeRoi Moore, who died after an ATV accident last summer. It’s the band’s first studio album in four years and named after LeRoi, whose nickname was GrooGrux King.

You can’t get better than that. Fans flock to concerts, selling more than 15 million tickets, making it the top-drawing American band in the world. In 1997, the band won a Grammy for “So Much To Say.”
