The Denver Broncos hired Josh McDaniels, former New England Patriots assistant coach. Josh McDaniels was part of 3 Super Bowls, 4 AFC Championships, and 6 Division Titles while holding the NFL's best record over that time. Josh McDaniels is the first new face Denver has seen in the head coaching position as Mike Shanahan left at the end of the 2008 season. Mike Shanahan was the 49'rs offensive coordinator until the Denver Broncos gave him his first head coaching position in 1995. Josh McDaniels is looking to replicate the offensive explosiveness that he created in New England with the likes of Matt Cassell and Tom Brady.
