Although the band released an album in 2005 titled It’s About Time, it was the group’s second album in 2007 titled Jonas Brothers that helped it make a name for itself in pop music. The sophomore album featured the hit songs “Hold On” and “S.O.S.” That same year the band also performed with fellow pop star Miley Cyrus and appeared on her hit Disney Channel show Hannah Montana. By the release of their third album A Little Bit Longer, featuring the hit single “Burnin’ Up,” and their appearance in the highly successful Disney movie Camp Rock, the Jonas Brothers had become teen pop superstars. Their Burnin’ Up Tour sold-out across the US, and several tour dates were filmed as a 3-D concert film that was released in February 2009. Brothers Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas became the youngest band to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine when they were featured on the July 2008 cover. Later in December of that year the band was nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist. The band’s fourth album Lives, Vines and Trying Times is scheduled to be released June 15, 2009.
