“I grew up in a world where I needed to know bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Cure existed, it meant there was a place for people like me to hang out and belong,” Corgan said in a statement announcing the tour. “That’s what The World Is A Vampire is about. Bringing back that sense of community. If you don’t fit in, you belong here. It’s about having a shared experience and respecting others, but ultimately having fun. A true alternative festival, where all the self-proclaimed weirdos and outsiders of the world can get together and have a party.” So don't miss out on that party — check the info below to learn more about the show, and get your Smashing Pumpkins Las Vegas Tickets from BigStub today!

The Smashing Pumpkins — the legendary Chicago-based band whose snarling attitude and crashing sound defined "Alternative Nation" in the '90s — are launching their first major reunion tour ever in 2024, and they're bringing it to venues all across North America!  While 1991's debut record Gish provided an exciting, more literary alternative to the the grunge sound coming out of Seattle at the time, it was their sophomore release Siamese Dream that announced the arrival of a major new voice in rock and roll.  The group followed that up with their 1995 magnum opus, the Diamond-certified double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, an album that frontman Billy Corgan called "The Wall for Generation X," in reference to its epic scope and sonic diversity — and contained such iconic hits as "Tonight, Tonight," "Bullet with Butterfly Wings," and "1979."  Unfortunately, the band was ill-equiped to handle the resulting superstardom, and while Corgan would continue leading permutations of the group off and on over the next two decades, the rest of the classic lineup had drifted away following 2000's Machina/The Machines of God.

Until now, that is.  While original bassist D'arcy Wretzky remains on the sidelines, guitarist James Iha and drummer Jimmy Chamberlain are back in the fold, and they're ready for a show that Corgan calls a tribute to their first five albums together: Gish, Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Adore, and Machina/The Machines of God.  Looking to catch them on their first major tour together since 2000?  Then you've come to the right place, because BigStub can hook you up with amazing tickets for the upcoming Smashing Pumpkins Las Vegas concert!
