Farm Aid Tickets

Farm Aid Tickets

Farm Aid is one of America's most enduring and beloved concert traditions — an annual benefit festival founded in 1985 by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, and Dave Matthews to support family farmers across the United States. What began as a response to a farming crisis has grown into a decades-long institution that combines great music with genuine advocacy, raising millions of dollars and keeping the cause of American farming at the center of the cultural conversation.

The 2025 edition of Farm Aid took place on September 20 at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, featuring performances by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Billy Strings, Margo Price, and more. The concert celebrated 40 years of the festival and drew one of its largest crowds in years.

The date and location for Farm Aid 2026 have not yet been officially announced, but the festival has reliably taken place each September. About Farm Aid

Farm Aid was born out of a specific crisis — the 1980s farm debt emergency that threatened to wipe out hundreds of thousands of family farms across the American heartland. Willie Nelson was moved to act after hearing John Mellencamp's "Rain on the Scarecrow," and together the two, along with Neil Young, organized the first Farm Aid concert in September 1985 in Champaign, Illinois. That show drew 80,000 people and raised over $9 million. Dave Matthews joined the board in 2001, and the festival has continued virtually every year since.

The Music and the Mission

What makes Farm Aid unique is that it's never just a concert — it's a platform. The lineup always features a mix of country legends, rock icons, and emerging Americana voices, but the stage is just one part of the experience. Attendees engage with farming organizations, learn about food systems, and connect directly with the cause. Past performers include Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Foo Fighters, Jason Isbell, and many more.
